Cinema: Stuck in Love

Stuck in Love
Do you like the lovey dove, romantic, totally predictable types of movies? Yes? Well this movie is for you.. and me

"Life is only as real as you let yourself think it is"
"Hopeless Romantic"
"I have days I feel I made a mad decision too"
"You'll be good for me"

If you are anything like me.. you'll cry. Very well put together and moving movie. There really isn't much more I can say about it.

Coffee: The Den Coffeehouse

Dirty Chai = Favorite

Choice of Chai
       ^
Sweet    Spicy

A coffee shop (The Den Coffeehouse) I hadn't know existed until a few days ago was located just a few blocks from my home town. It may look a bit dirty and unclean on the outside but it's one of those places where you have to apply the "you can't judge a book by its cover" theory cause when you walk in you're instantly surrounded by kind, people, charisma, and best of all... Coffee!

The man who was working that day said that his recommendation of a drink was a dirty chai. Now in this place they give you the option of Sweet chai or spicy chai which you can't find at many places. What makes a dirty chai however is half and half, sweet and spicy. Surprisingly it's quite delicious!

P.S. You can get great options on drinks if you are willing to a be a bit adventurous! Just ask your barista what drink they recommend and I'm sure you'll get some fun creation of their own or a mystery drink!

Words

Sometimes you just need to use your imagination and no matter what anybody else ttys to say to you, you have goal and dreams. If you want to be Peter Pan and stay young forever then hey! go for it because one day a lot of those things are going to wear off, long gone in the past.
One Song by the artist,

Passenger is called The Things That Stop You Dreaming

Amazing song but hey when you are older there are things that will stop the continual dreams... such as getting married! Such a happy ending indeed:)

Cinema: Vanilla Sky

Vanilla Sky, a movie featuring Tom Cruise...
So far I am a bit confused about the background story in this movie. This man is like waving bait in front of his prey/ woman. There's not many but it still.
The movie carries out as this man living in his dreams, literally and from there I can't tell you much about it! (Wouldn't want to spoil the surprise!)

..."life is but the pursuit of a dream"...

Get watching and give me your feedback on what to rate this movie!

Coffee: Victor's Celtic Coffee Company

IRISH NUDGE
(Truly one of a kind cause I couldn't even find a link on the internet to give you!)
officially my new favorite coffee drink, two expresso shots with irish cream and the barista even put a dollop of whipped cream on top of the drink. It was a delicious combination that was soothing and cold even as a hot drink!

Found at the one and only Victor's Celtic Coffee Company that actually used to be own by a man named Victor however in the change of ownership, its quite a crime to sit in the shop over an hour or how dare anyone use the wifi! It's only a coffee shop, a place that many go to feed their yearn for coffee and spend early mornings or late nights chatting with friends or bustling through the world of work and school.
There's an attachable camera lens
called an ollo lens, it
manages to take spectacular
micro and macro photos!
Simply just attach it to the
corner of your phone!

Cinema: Water for Elephants

A movie about a woman whom makes her life with a man running a circus but as this crowd competes with their rival circus, they need to find a new act. This new act however happens to become an elephant in which the main character and this woman love dearly. Due to this common interest between the two of them, they go against her husband and his treatment towards them as well as the elephant. It's a sad yet inspiring movie filled with love and care.

... Some things are worth fighting for.

Coffee: Happy with Honey

A new drink I had today at Caffe Ladro in Bothell was a drip coffee du lair (with milk) and a foamy top drizzled in honey. This is probably on the top of my list of creative drinks although next time I think a bit more honey to give it an even sweeter taste would be a nice addition!

Try it sometime!

Coffee: Cafe Cesura

A cute new age coffee shop hidden on the streets of Bellevue, one of my favorites! They keep on the far wall new artists of all mediums, at the moment its filled with beautiful photographs from all over the world. the way that they allow the artists to display their expressive works is fantastic cause in many cases artists need a boost to go places with their art and Cafe Cesura gives them that much.

I always thought that the stamping of the cups with
the cafe's name looked crafty... don't be afraid to try
and make your own out of rubber
and a block of wood! Or just
buy a custom one, either way.

Adorable use of glass cups sometimes and
coffee cups other times! It's always a surprise!

Coffee: Cherry Street Coffee House

A unique coffee shop located near pike place in Seattle is called Cherry Street Coffee House, with the looks of a studio, covered in posters, art, and paint, this place brings in the Seattle grunge look while serving their unique coffee. The style even carries over into the bathrooms with decorative chandeliers and brick walls. One drink I recommend is their Milkyway latte, filled with chocolate, caramel and obviously some shots of coffee... all enjoyed in the comfort of their seating that included the pillow cushions layer down on the bench seats.

Coffee Art... It isn't as simple as it seems
 but easily learnable

Cinema: The Grand Budapest Hotel

Quite an intriguing movie really, although I was stuffed into the theaters first row, there were so many parts and pieces of this film that I found action packed in a loving way. Even though the film was cut into sections and stories, it wasn't one of those films where halfway through you had lost all sight of what was going on and where and with whom, in this instance, it was layer out in an orderly fashion giving you clips that flowed together.

It was a Clue kind of set up... always bringing you back to Mr. Green in the room with a candlestick.

Overall the film was about a Hotel Concierge and his Lobby boy whom worked at The Grand Budapest Hotel, a well known and popular destination. The Hotel Concierge was well known by all his visitors, including one woman with who admired him dearly and as shown in the beginning, he took great care of. Upon her death, the hotel concierge inherited a priceless piece of art in which the lady had owned and this lead to the rest of the story of the Hotel Concierge and his Lobby as they fought for this piece of art and their vocations.

**** four stars (Excluding seating)

Coffee: Caffe Ladro

A delightful little cafe located in many areas around the Seattle area, filled with simple yet delicious coffee and tea choices! Their coffee selections include more than just your typical two shots. A "JUMBO" cup includes four shots where at most locations you would only receive two. The atmosphere of this coffee shop is simplistic with a calming and inviting vibe. The ceiling of one particular Caffe Ladro location, the Issaquah Highlands is filled with paper lanterns and a tiled backdrop.

A cute ambient lighting feature; Round Paper Lanterns

Words

A good quote is always a good way to inspire. Quotes give you words to express yourself when you can't find the words yourself.

Off, Off and Away

This will be my first blog post although it is more of an introduction. I have a tradition of going out to a new coffee shop every week (within reason) and seeing what's out there to find! I want to not only share my love of coffee and films with you but also a few little extra things to spark inspiration (or pinspiration)!

....Off, Off and Away!

You can never go wrong with a classic, or a VCR for that fact
