Cinema: The Neighbors

One new movie that came out recently was the Neighbors, a movie that had gotten very mixed reviews. Coming from the younger crowd, the jokes were rated r and although seriously entertaining, someone of a younger age might not catch on however that might be their kind of humor... It's so hard to keep up with what is considered "young" or "cool" and that goes for people who technically are still young as well!

Overall this movie was entertaining but lacking a serious plot aside from the lasting message that sometimes it's best to leave behind the partying and move on... More especially if you are starting a family because at that point it's time to set a good example even if you don't want to.
This film made me think of Peter Pan and how you don't want I grow up, you want to be mischievous and care free but in the end everyone has to grow up.
Must watch for humor!

Cinema Snapshot: FujiFilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Film Camera

There is true beauty in the ability to snap a picture and watch it transform on a piece of film before your eyes. It has been three months since I bought myself the FujiFilm Instax Mini 8 camera and I just couldn't resist taking a picture any longer.. the perfect picture will have to wait!

Here's the turnout...

Cinema: What to Expect When You're Expecting

I'm just getting into this movie, What to Expect When You're Expecting, I kept avoiding this movie cause I thought it would be a typical cheesy movie however my love for romantic, chick- flick movies caught up to me. Tis movie about the good and the bad of getting pregnant and raising a child shows it all for the love it is. As this movie follows around these various couples they share the different ways that the process can go, some take everything smoothly while others wish it would end but as it goes, after it is all over you'll forget about everything and be happy for the new life you've created and the family you've built. Truly inspirational.

There's a time in everyone's life when a little one should be welcomed. It's like a right of passage.

Coffee: Cultured

A unique little coffee shop in Flagstaff, Arizona presents itself with an artistic characteristic that deviates from what I've seen before! Cultured coffee has walls covered in paintings, two that I saw where of millions of light bulbs and the other had a hand reaching out to... Well something, I don't know quite what but you can use your imagination!

The expertise coffee that I tasted today was filled with three shots of coffee and had a pump or two of peppermint in it! It always seemed that by Starbucks standards (I know, sad comparison) peppermint isn't just a seasonal thing and it surely isn't just for mixing with mochas but it also fits in well with your classic latte!

Hope you enjoy if you stop by this treat off of Route 66!

Cinema: FROZEN

If you haven't yet seen the movie FROZEN then I have to say you are highly missing out. Being a lover of the movie tangled, a new piece to the Disney Pixar puzzle, tangled was a well animated film with all aspects of a fairy tale being portrayed. Frozen, similar to tangled displayed a strong female figure who didn't let her love, passion, or power get in her way. Although the on,y way to help her was to keep her separated and pretty much locked up, it was love in the end that one needed to control and do good with what one has.

Beautifully made animated film! Highly suggested! Makes me want to build a snowman:)

***** (five stars)

P.S. One of the sisters names was Princess Anna, love it cause my name is Anna too and every time I'm working with kids I'm a princess:)

Coffee: Cinnabon-Bon

Ever tried cinnamon in your coffee? Well if not you should. I found out about this little gem while visiting Caffe Ladro one day...

Option One
Pour in you shot of coffee, followed by a layer of honey, then your next shot of coffee, half your steamed milk, a ton of cinnamon (it takes more than you would think to make the flavor come through), and then top it off with the remaining steamed milk and foam, feel free to add a little design on top too if you enjoy that and/or know how to do that!

Option Two
Pour in your shots of coffee (how many is your preference, I usually go two shots in a tall, two or three in a grande depending on how much energy I need, and then three in a venti), half your steamed milk, a ton of cinnamon (Trust me... Lots is needed!)), and then top it off with the remaining steamed milk and foam, maybe even in fleur (flower).

Option Three
*this is for those of you who really aren't sure whether or not you will like the cinnamon. Just build your latte like you normally would and when you're done with that then dash some cinnamon on the top (same could be done with chocolate shaving), and voila! Your first few sips will be cinnamon filled and after that you can drink on in piece knowing whether or not you like that little extra zap of flavoring!

P.S. I always suggest a treat with your coffee, maybe having a bad day? A box of Bon Bons is a wonderful solution!

Cinema: P.S. I Love You

P.S. I Love You is probably one of my all time favorite movies. Not for the sad dying parts and the love letters (although that part is cute too) but for the travel and adventure.

All I want to do is travel and go places and see things. I don't mean see the Eiffel tower and big museums but the countryside, the mountains, the small nooks and crannies that look so dark but are filled with love care and adventure... most of all places tourists either don't or forget to go to.

In this movie however you see Ireland, the pubs are the greatest culture of that land. it's where you find the music and laughter and best of all the beer, or at least according to this movie that is. Makes me want to go there!

Spoiler: The scene where the girl is wandering along the road looking for the national park and then she runs into her "true love" only to realize that she had been walking in the park for over two hours. The green grass, open landscape, and desolate areas free of societies force was what she was walking through. Sounds like peace to me:)

This Photo may not be of Ireland (Although I wish I could go
there and take one but it is just the peace and quiet of nature

Cinema: The Joneses

What a movie, at first in this film, The Joneses, I found it quite confusing however in the end it had a real inca twisted love story. You wouldn't expect going into a movie that a family made of top marketers living among the community to put out a desire for products would turn into a sentimental love story. The idea of living a life that is made of selling every aspect of your life seems silly (Aside from the numerous benefit of "living" for a marketing company that is!).

SPOILER: It's a marketing Scam!

Coffee: Late for the Train Coffee

One of the cutest coffee shops I had been to in a while. Set in Flagstaff, Arizona it holds character and charm. If you're art part of the Northern Arizona University campus, this little place is just a short walk away with two locations in "old town". Make your way down and explore its options of coffee (and maybe even pick up a cute mug of theirs while you're at it).

Cinema: Stuck in Love

Stuck in Love
Do you like the lovey dove, romantic, totally predictable types of movies? Yes? Well this movie is for you.. and me

"Life is only as real as you let yourself think it is"
"Hopeless Romantic"
"I have days I feel I made a mad decision too"
"You'll be good for me"

If you are anything like me.. you'll cry. Very well put together and moving movie. There really isn't much more I can say about it.
